◆気付きのフィードバック
人は、諭されることや非難されること嫌う。
だから、人の欠点を指摘しても、
それを機会にして改善されることは、まずない。
では、どういったとき人は改めるのか。
それは、「気付いた」ときにしかない。
自分で「気付いた」ときに、はじめて人は改める。
だから、人を動かすことを強引にしたり、
無理矢理、首根っこを捕まえて引っ張ることはできない。
たとえ、それをやったとしても、
それは、プラスの効果をもたらすことは少ない。
「気付き」を与える方法のひとつに、
フィードバックという方法がある。
これは、自分自身が相手の鏡となり、
相手の考えを引き出し、気付かせる方法だ。
決して、難しいテクニックではない。
ただ、相手の話を受け入れ、促すだけだ。
自分の意見や主張だけが、この方法の障壁。
いかに、「聴けるか」というところがポイントになる。
しかしながら、他人がそうだとするならば、
自分自身も、もちろんそうであるということ。
自分自身も、いかに多くの気付きを得れるかが、
自分の理想の結果と成長を得るためのカギだ。
「周囲に起こる事象は、鏡である」と認識し、
それが、自分にとってどんな意味があるかを考える。
このほんの少しの行為が、大きな気付きを与えてくれる。
うまくいかないときは、その方法ではダメだというサイン。
自分の主張ではなく、周囲のメッセージを受け取る。
そのフィードバックの感じ方が、成否を分ける。
